Log the following actions during copy operation

  • Delete operations
  • Copy actions
  • Filtered data
  • Backed-up data
  • File conflicts
  • Structure conflicts
Please note that logging these actions may increase the duration of the copy operation. This feature is available starting with the AllSync Professional Edition.

Log all copied files in a daily created log file

This option writes information about copied files during a copy operation into a newly created daily log file.
The file is saved in the 'Log' folder under the name AllSyncYYMMDD.log. It applies to all profiles.
The file contains information about the daily copy volume in the following format:
Date; Time; Profile Name; Source Folder; Destination Folder; File Name; File Size in Bytes;

Open profile log file in Windows system folder for temporary files

This option opens the profile log file in the Windows system temporary folder first, and moves it to the profile folder after the copy operation is completed.

Remove old entries from profile log file

At the start of a copy operation, the profile log file is checked and all entries older than the specified number of days are removed.
Notes:
  • Refer to the Compatibility section under the Time Format option.
  • The log file is only checked once a day.
  • A new log file is created before the old file is deleted.

Copy profile log file to each destination folder

After completing the copy operation between all source and destination folders, the profile log file is copied to each destination folder.
The file is saved there under the name {Profile-Name}.txt.
Any existing file with the same name will be automatically overwritten.
